MINNESOTA TRAUMA RECOVERY NETWORK

THE MINNESOTA TRAUMA RECOVERY NETWORK (TRN) IS OPENING SOON. CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES WEEKLY.

Mission: The Minnesota TRN is dedicated to strengthening and supporting Minnesota by offering probono Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy in response to local natural or human-caused disasters. Our skilled team of EMDR therapists are prepared to provide EMDR Therapy to Minnesota community members impacted by traumatic events in our community.

Model: Depending on the need of the person requesting services and expertise of our EMDR therapists, we will provide up to 5 free sessions of R-TEP/G-TEP, standard EMDR protocol, recent event protocol, or EMD protocol.

THERAPISTS INTERESTED IN JOINING

The Trauma Recovery Network (TRN), supported through the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP), is a community of EMDR clinicians who volunteer their skills to provide pro bono therapy in the aftermath of Minnesota community crises and disasters. Through the TRN, EMDR therapists come together to extend healing to those most in need, offering short-term treatment to individuals impacted by natural disasters, mass violence, and other overwhelming events.

We are proud to be connected to this important network and encourage trained EMDR clinicians to get involved. Participation offers not only the opportunity to serve, but also to learn from others, build community, and witness the resilience of people during times of profound challenge.

If you are interested in supporting your community through EMDR therapy, the TRN provides both training and organizational support for volunteers. Together, we can ensure that trauma recovery is accessible when it is needed most.

SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS

The Trauma Recovery Network (TRN), supported through the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP), provides free, short-term EMDR therapy to individuals impacted by crisis or disaster. Our volunteer clinicians are specially trained in EMDR trauma treatment and committed to helping people begin their healing journey after overwhelming events.

If you or your community has experienced a crisis — such as natural disaster, mass violence, or another distressing event — the TRN may be able to offer support. Services are:

  • Free of charge – provided by volunteer EMDR therapists.

  • Short-term – typically focused on stabilizing symptoms and helping you regain a sense of safety and balance.

  • Accessible – designed to serve individuals and communities most affected by crisis, regardless of financial or insurance status.

EMDR therapy is a proven, evidence-based approach for trauma recovery. Many people find that even a few sessions can reduce distress and allow them to move forward with greater resilience.

If you are interested in learning more or would like to be connected with a TRN clinician, please reach out. Our goal is to ensure that help is available when it’s needed most.
